Grey's Anatomy: WTF? Seriously?

This show is the perfect example of how off-set drama can ruin a show. If getting rid of George and Izzie will restore this show to its glory days, well then let's get it over with already. Why make us suffer through an entire of summer of the unknown?

It really is such a shame that the writers had to destroy such beloved characters. Don't worry, I blame everyone for this crap--actors, writers, execs--screw you all. The Izzie/Alex storyline was such a good one, and I was so anxious to see it evolve. But no, they've destroyed it for me. Thanks, thanks so much.

I realize I sound like a raving lunatic and that the stupid writers of that show will only interpret this rant as proof that they did their job, but the vision of Izzie in her "prom" gown meeting George in a military uniform is running through my head and making me want to gag. Whew, that was a long sentence.

Sadly, that ending overshadowed whatever was good about this finale like Bailey's emotional dilemma, Meredith and Derek finally "marrying" on their own terms, and Mark and Lexie trying to navigate their weird relationship. Ugh! Tonight was enough to make me want to stop watching this show. Why couldn't they let George just go to Iraq? Why did they have to give Izzie a terminal disease? Was letting them walk out of Seattle Grace's doors quietly to pursue jobs in other places (like Burke) not OK? They really had to give them all this lame fanfare? Really?! Ugh, ugh, ugh!

I suspect George really is dead because whatshisface really doesn't want to be on the show anymore and has pretty much confirmed he's not returning. As for Izzie, well, I guess contract negotiations this summer will determine whether she walks through heaven's gates with George. First she says she wants to leave to make movies, now she's saying that's not the case. I have no tolerance for actors and actresses when they're like this. Be glad you have a job--look at the millions of people out there without jobs who would kill to have one like yours. Suck it up and appreciate what you have. If you were really doing this for the sake of art or to win an Oscar, you'd be making indie movies for crap money.

OK, I think the rant is over. Here's hoping they turn it around next season. I don't know if I can handle another like this one.

I stopped watching Grey's after the 1st season. Should I even catch up?
