Gossip Girl: O.M.G!

The much hyped about GG threesome was pretty predictable, but still worthy of an OMG! Other than that situation, the ep was chock full of the drama and backstabbing that make me love this show. It's like a freakin' roller coaster. One minute I'm rooting for this girl and the next I'm rooting for that girl. Then before I know it I'm like WTF...OMG...did that just happen? This show is my total guilty pleasure. It's like the teenybopper version of Nip/Tuck. Just when you think they can't possibly go there, they do. Man, some days I love bad TV.

Just because he's so pretty and has crappy storylines on this show I'm posting a pic of Chace Crawford from tonight's ep. (Plus, I couldn't find a pic of the ones involved in the infamous threesome.)

I love a man in a tux:

Gossip Girl: Crazy Freshmen

First thing's first--why would two rich girls choose to live in the NYU dorms? Not even Mary-Kate and Ashley Oleson decided to live in them. Seriously, do rich girls actually live in dorms with shared bathrooms and roommates?

Moments that made me laugh my ass off:

Blair finding out Georgina's her roommate.

Blair asking Dan to take her to the party.

Blair calling in the Jesus freaks.

Dan calling out Blair.

Dan hooking up with Georgina. (OK, this was more of a "Whoa!" reaction.)

As you can tell...Dan and Blair pretty much made the ep for me. I always loved how much they hated each other.

Of course, Serena just annoyed the crap out of me. I really hate what they're doing with her character. Why is she always a mess-up. Chuck had it right when he called her worthless...or whatever it was he said. Although, I have to admit that I'm rather intrigued by her relationship with Carter. That should be interesting.

Once again, Nate's scenes were snoozworthy. I really don't care about these two at the moment. Hell, I find Vanessa and the long-lost Humphrey boy far more entertaining that boy kind of creeps me out.

The awwwwww moment goes to Chuck and Blair at the very end. Although Blair was a total bitch, it was nice to see her find peace with Chuck and vice versa. They really are too cute for words.

Next week's ep should be soooo good.

Gossip Girl: Still Bad...But Oh So Good

Gossip Girl did not disappoint. It was full of the scandal, manipulation and stupidity that I so love in this show. Let's examine how each character spent their summer vacation:

Serena: She traipsed all around Europe looking for Daddy Dearest, but he didn't want to have anything to do to her. Awwww, poor pretty socialite girl. I guess money can't buy you everything. So, what does she do? Puts on a fake show in front of the paparazzi in the hopes that daddy will want to save her. Yeah, good luck with that. What intrigues me most is this new quasi relationship with Carter. It's kinda sweet.

Chuck & Blair: The most evil couple on the Upper East Side managed to stay together through the summer. Although, they needed to play some lame game to keep it together. The cheating BF and the scorned woman? Really? Whatever floats your boat I suppose. Well, I was glad to see they're still together even though we all know it's going to crumble before the season ends if not before the winter hiatus.

The Humphrey Clan: Seems like they're all settling quite nicely into this Brady Bunch-like situation. But I'm still weirded out about the Dan and Serena siblings thing. Obviously things are going to explode when the new Humphrey boy makes himself known. Can't wait!

Nate: He has quickly become one of the most boring characters on this show. At least Dan has that tortured artist thing going for him. I don't know if being the rebellious one in the Vanderbilt family is going to help. So far, the only thing it seems he's good at is keeping secret relationships. Let's hope this new one has a little more substance than the others. Although, I think they could have really done something great with Nate and Vanessa.

Vanessa: I wish they would have put her in flats in that last scene. It would have made a lot less awkward. Her relationship with Dan's half brother won't last long if he doesn't let her in on the secret.

This new season looks promising. I'm excited to see how things unfold.

Gossip Girl: Sex, Lies and Cell Phone Pics

And the drama begins...

Chuck and some Gentleman’s Club girl. He recruits Vanessa and Nate to try to find her.

Questions arise about Dan and Miss Carr—even Serena’s picking up on some more than friendly vibes.

Blair is being, well, Blair. Love how she had Deroda doing her punishment and sneaking in cell phones.

LOL…patting Dan on the back for hooking up with the teacher.

Raccoon makeup—that’s right! So glad she’s almost back to the old Jenny. I missed her.

Chuck bagging a mom? Weird.

Dan in the ladies’ room—look who got some cajones.

Probably not a good idea to hang around the teacher people thinking you’re hooking up with, Dan.

Uh-oh, someone’s in trouble.

Damn…the teacher just needs to roll with it. Midwest girl better watch it. She’s really pissed now.

Watch out for the pretty blonde, teacher.

Sidenote: Can’t wait to see He’s Just Not that Into You

Don’t think Serena’s going to understand, Dan. Vanessa’s right.

LOL! V got an invite to the sex club?

Oh get off your high horse teacher…nice try Serena. No, bitch, we can’t be friends.

What the hell? Chuck found his girl?

And why are Dan and the teacher having dinner together with romantic lighting?

Oh Rose from Related, it’s OK, no need to cry. What happened to the hardass?

What?! What did she just say?

Uh-oh—Serena get it on camera. Good girl. Why am I rooting for Blair instead of the ethical teacher? What has this show done to me?

What the hell? Daddy Bass was part of a secret sex club?

Vanessa and Nate doing their own “club” thing? LMAO!

Uh-oh…and there’s the smoking gun…and Blair wins.

Now Dan’s going to break up with you Serena. If he wasn’t before, he is now.

Teacher is gone. And Daddy is angry. Now, Dan and Serena are going to break up again…ZZZZZZZZ

It’s ain’t over. Who are you idiots fooling?

Uh-oh, Dan’s going to hook up with the teacher now.

How does a teacher live in a nice NYC apartment like that on her salary?

Oh Dan, have you not learned your lesson? Oh wow! Teacher went for it and Dan is all for it.

Ummmm, teacher’s coming back? But she’s screwing Dan. Will that be a problem? Wow, they really got to it fast.

Overall, not their best, but I can’t wait to see what happens with Dan and the teacher. I’m just glad that the Dan/Serena saga is over for now. Them dating while their parents are is a little weird. I hope the missing nanny/sex club storyline doesn’t end up being a ridiculous dud. It already seems a little WTFish. The need to figure out what to do with Nate and Vanessa cuz they’re kinda boring. And Little J needs a story again, but I guess with big bro Dan bonking the teach, she’s not going to see much action. Only one Humphrey kid can be the center of attention at any given time.

Fave moment: Teacher jumping all over little Dan.

My Head's Spinning, But I Love It

Source: Gossip Girl Insider

So, I got a little distracted tonight because I had to do some work during the show. Needless to say, I probably missed a few noteworthy moments. But I didn’t manage to catch Dan and Serena getting all freaky; Blair being put on blast, scheming and redeeming herself; Nate dissing sweet Vanessa just to be someone’s boytoy so he can save his family fortunes—I believe that’s called pimping yourself out big guy; and Chuck being, well, Chuck. Anyway, here are my random thoughts minus the pics. (I really need to figure out the screencapping thing.)

If physical attraction is the only thing Serena and Dan have going for them…this ain’t gonna last.

This is one sick, tangled web—I can’t keep up. Lord Marcus, Duchess screwing Nate, who dated Blair? Does anyone else’s head hurt?

Ummmm…bus scene…so wrong, but so good. LOL!

Stepmother—that explains it. How old is this guy? Or are they scammers? Hmmmm. There’s something about this pair of royals that I don’t trust.

Chuck’s mysterious phone call. Could it be the Duchess? BTW…can’t believe Nate has no money. Oh, I guess it was mom. Whoops.

Yay…Vanessa is back! She’s been looking after the gallery?

Bromance…lol!

Worst. Party. Ever. Blair, you’re going to have to do better if you’re going to impress anyone.

Yeah, Serena…nice cover. And now my head official hurts. LOL…book club?! That’s the best you could do, S?

Why are S and B talking like the Dawson’s Creek kids? Is that a shout-out to my favorite show? (It better not be a diss!)

Nate rolling around with the Duchess in the library. Interesting way of playing Clue. Guess Blair just found her bargaining chip.

Awww…poor Vanessa. I really liked her and Nate together. I know there’s drama ahead for these two, but I hope they end up together.

Bring on the Bitches!

OK, the following is kind of a stream of consciousness recap/review. I usually like to take my time and be all detailed, but I guess I was just too excited tonight..Gossip Girl did not disappoint. Great ad campaign. Great first episode. Loved it!

Ain’t karma a bitch? We know Blair Waldorf is. LMAO! Even though I know G.Girl is Veronica Mars herself Kristen Bell, I just love how well they cast this voice. Perfectly bitchy and snarky. Lonelyboy now Playboy? Serena sitting shiva? Nate messing around with a married woman? Blair and Chuck…well, some things never change.

Photobucket

Damn that Motherchucker! Chuck Bastard!

I love how both Serena and Blair have fake boyfriends.

James=The Talented Mr. Ripley? Didn’t think Chuck or any teenager today could make that reference. Then again, I guess Upper East Side kids are much more cultured than the normal teenyboppers.

Photobucket

Love, love, love Serena’s white party look. Only someone built like her could pull that off.

As always, Dan’s timing is amazing. The reasons for them breaking up were so bogus. I’m glad they’ve come to their senses.

Photobucket

Playboy gets found out and gets a drink shower. Nice.

A Lord?! How ya gonna compete with that Chuck? LMAO! Oh Gossip Girl—you never cease to disappoint.

I’m not sure I completely buy Grandma changing her ways—seems a little strange to me and definitely too easy. Blair may be the bitch of the show, but Grandma proved last season she was the OG bitch.

Ahhh little Jenny, using her power for good instead of evil. Good girl.

Photobucket

Chuck trying to pull out the big guns after he finds out James is really a lord. And I’m Chuck Bass isn’t enough…great line. All he had to do was say three words, eight letters…but he couldn’t do it.

The end of summer is the beginning of a new season. You ain’t seen nothing yet. Xoxo Gossip Girl

Let the drama begin!
